Hi, has anyone done a complete trim swap in there E60? I don't really like the color of the trim in my car and would like to change it for a darker color. What would be the best route to take if I wanted to replace it with a darker OEM trim (no stickon/overlay trim)? I have posted a picture of my car with the current trim. Thanks.

Yeah it's an awful color you're right. I'd hate it too
It's not really that hard, you have to either order the original trim pieces from BMW, or find something on ebay, and replace yourself.
Many have done it.

Can anyone recommend good source for a brushed aluminum or titanium color trim other then OEM? I used to have it in E46 and really liked it...

Or you could always give Garry ( our resident OEM parts + accessories vendor) who offers 25% off list price for 5series forum members: https://5series.net/forums/topic/180...sory-discount/

That color is my favorite wood trim, I have always been a huge fan of light wood interiors, to bad I would swap my dark wood for that light would in a second, to bad I have a pre-lci e60

Hi guys, I swopped my brushed aliminum for a wood finish...not once but twice !!!! Did not like the metal finish in the 2007 model and just got a 545 2005 with ..metal. So I have boxed original parts if anyone is interested. The change over is not very dificult but I had a garage do it for £50.
Looks goooood !!!
