Hello all,

I just picked up a beautiful black 2008 528i. As expected there are a few minor aesthetic issues but nothing major. I'm discovering new things about the car everyday and came access this. There looks to be some kind of missing module on the back side of the glove box. If anyone can let me know what this is that'd be greatly appreciated.

In mine, a 2007 525i, that is where the additional fuse box is located.

 

Mine has a 6 disc CD changer there.

 

yup, 6 CD changer.

also, did you notice the key holder in the bracket at the back of the box? It takes the plastic key so you can start the car if you lose your keys.

 

My 08 has the extra fuse box there.
