Good evening to everybody!

Just signed in. Congrats to admins on setting up this great and very, very usefull forum. Been arround for a long time and as I am about to make my finall descission on E60 over this weekend, I have a practical questsion;

Has anybody test driven upgraded 530xd (231HP) and can you compare it to 535d in terms of drive pleasure?

Thanks in advance!

Tough call. Both are great though

Personally I wouldn't bother with the 4-wheel drive unless the weather demands it?

The updated diesel (not made it to 535d yet) does seem better but I haven't had an extended period with one... Definitely quieter and smoother. (And a little lighter too!)

As we will have a Volvo XC90 (AWD) as a second car, I thing I will go for 535d.
I saw a post earlier about 535d getting a software update to 285+HP. Does anybody have more details/news?
