I'm considering ordering comfort seats with a 530xiT wagon. I haven't found a 5 series vehicle on local dealer lots with comfort seats installed. But, on the 7 series, the comfort seat headrest is so wide that when I turn my head to the left (to check traffic before changing lanes), I can't see out the windows in the back.

Does anyone know if the comfort seat headrest in the 5 series is wide enough to block the view? (I'm 6 feet tall, normally proportioned for my height.)

550 and I don't have a problem with the seats and the view. I had a 04 745 and it didn't bother me in that car either. in the 550 the comfort seat head rest come to with about 3" of the edge of the seat. I had comfort seats in both cars and I think is best option.

If that was the case, they wouldnt offer them. I test drove a 550 a week ago with comfort seats and had no problem, im 5'11". It is a must have option once you have sat in them.

Those headrest aren't that big to obstruct your view

No problem!

The CS's headrest is not that much wider compared to the sport or regular seat, but they are thicker.
