Whatever the price would be, as a long term investment I would say it would be money very well spent. I had a 525 with standard/heated/lumbar seats and my 545 has the comfort seats. They are the most comfortable thing I have ever sat in.

PM if you have any questions. Like i said before i accomplished this DIY myself and while the pictures were pretty much straight forward there was a little confusion on my part on how to remove the back of the seats. A very good mod but i am still impatiently waiting to get my hands on a pair of comfort seats

WOW, I always thought my seats were the sports seats, turns out they are confort seats 10 way adjustable just like in the video above. I love my seats by the way, drove for 10 hours straight and no back issues or anything. Love the adjustable lombard and sides option.
Hmmmm, now I wonder what the sports seats look like, have to do some googlin..

Thats awesome, only issue for me is that my local dealer swears up and down that they cant install or code comfort seats into my 535. I know its possibly i just need to convince them.

Aside from some people being built with broad bone structure, there are self modifications one can undergo that have numerous side benefits throughout life....
When I had "sport seats" first in my 2006 M Roadster and then in an 07 328it6, I thought they were quite wonderful, even for long drives. One trip was 4000 miles in a week or so.
Then once I sat in "comfort seats", I realized even greater adjustment would be nice for the multi-day drives.
I only wish I'd known the 08 535xit I have was also available with the ventilated version of the seats.

I believe that because I had heat and memory on my standard seats it was an easier swap. Another local dealer said it could be done.
