Looking for someone who has these headrests in their car.

"Comfort seat" headrests - anyone with "small" folding-headrest.jpgI'm trying to special order a set and the dealer is having trouble. The photo shows a M& 08 535xi sedan, built 09/2007, black leather. The "comfort seats" in certain years had this style but others had headrests with the whole front folding, not just the small portion. I'm trying to replace mine with the small folding wings but also in "natural brown dakota"

Thanks!

its pre LCI sports seat (or comfort seat) I think. I have an 08 but it is LCI and has the bigger type. GL

No mine is like yours, larger wings. However, it's not a pre or post lci issue. The car shown above, and linked below, is post lci like mine but has them

Nevermind, just realized these are the full wings and you're looking for the small wings.

Are these what you're looking for? This is equivalent to what I have in my 535i;

correct, same as mine. I see something you need though, the matching light brown wood shift knob I wouldn't have thought to order such a thing but this car came with it and it's really nice actually. When a car has aluminum trim, then I do prefer the aluminum shifter.

Mine is a 07 530i with the black leather folding headrest your looking for. I'll take a picture tonight and post it tomorrow.

That's ok, no need, but thanks. I already have that route covered. Finding an exact match is what the parts guy needs.

I don't think what you're looking for exists. Your interior color was only available on the LCIs and the headrests were modified for the LCIs to the full size "wings". The car in the picture is an early '08, where the factory might have had leftover stock of the older headrests in the pre-LCI colors and used them up until they ran out. BMW phases stuff into production all the time.

Just a hunch, but that's the only explanation I can come up with.

I believe the "small wings" headrests were available through the beginning of the LCI introduction until they replaced them with the newer "active headrests".
