How does a 535 with comfort access and the start button handle this type of situation. Personally one time turning around in driveway
I accidentally hit the stop button and the car stopped and went into park.

Interesting read! A quick skim of my manual does not show any warning about holding the button for three seconds to stop the engine in an emergency situation...

Eh there was a big article in the LA times about this saying the start button is part of the problem, Lexus' notchy shifter gate is another problem along with the possibility that from now on cars should automatically cut the gas if the brakes are applied. IE. no more burnouts.
