Fred, I wanted the mrs to get a silver one but when we saw bluewater in the metal with grey-blue leather it was a no-brainer......looked fantastic

Titanium silver is always nice, I've had 2 tit. silver bms in the past, a 728 and a 330 cab.......they needed the leather in black to complement them as grey leather was a bit pale and washed-out looking with titanium silver.

happy choosing, ours arrives in about 2 weeks so can post pics of it then!

Thanks for the reactions guys. I think it's still undecided. I quite like the blue one in the brochure with the grey leathers, but my wife doesn't want it because her current car is blue and she wants a change..
She prefers a black one, but I know it will look like a bucket in a years time. (dents and scratches)

We've seen the bluewater, but it didn't quite do it for us. Silver grey is an option now, or indeed silver..

Women always make things complicated..

BTW, Doctor Diesel, looking at your avatar, is that the reason you went for the sports suspension on the X3?

Fred, I'm a big fan of the silver, this is my second BMW in it. My wife is also feels the silver looks very "classy". I think they would look very cool on the drive together.

Cheers,

Malc.

Now You've found out why I like a stiff suspension set-up (and an extra rear view mirror) Ha HA HA

(my wife's current car is silver so we are going the opposite way, silver-blue(ish)

hey, that's not fair. I didn't get to vote yet. Can you still stay open minded? just kidding, at least you got that part resolved.

I'm looking forward to the pics of both of them side by side.

BTW, we only went for the 3.0 because I have a 2 tonnes trailer that we use in emergencies. The 2.5 could legally only tow 1800 kg. Seems a bit strange to me really, since it has enough power and the rest is more or less the same.
