The pic is a lousy cellcam one but I'm sure you can see the temperature.

The car was out all night.

The suspension felt hard the first 15 minutes this morning
and the engine sound was raw.

But everything worked just fine...

get bmw service to spray your dampers with some special oil to make them more responsive.. theyll know

Oh, come on - you are from Finland! -20C is not that cold. Yes, it is chilly, but its nothing for the car. I lived 23 years in Siberia, we had temperatures below -45C from time to time, and all my cars (few toyotas, one nissan, and a e36 3er) were just fine. It takes some time to warm up, and I recomment idling it for 5-10 minutes before driving, and then drive slow for the first 10-15 minutes to warm up all the shocks, suspension rubber parts, etc...

I've noticed that my I-Drive screen is much dimmer when I start the car and it's below freezing, but then it gets brighter after -say- 10 minutes or so.
Anyone else noticed this too?
