Ok guys, I was at the garage to have my M5 mirrors put on and the guy came out with this set of wheels... They come off a 530 in 19" with continental 245/35 and 275/30 tires. I could have them for 600$. The tires are at 50% and the curbrashes would be repaired for me. What do you think: Deal or Steal? and above all: do you like them? I am not too sure, I donīt dislike em but donīt want to go too "racy" with the car, it is an elegant car afterall and donīt want it look "tuning".....

While I was there we did some more coding aswell... Allways fun!

Not bad looking, I like it more than the wheels you have. Though cleaning would be a pain though

Are those E39 M5 mirrors? Does really don't look like the E60 M5 mirrors that I have on my car or any I have seen.

Those mirrors look like eBay replica actually.

Well I must admit, when I bought the car and started looking into the e60 in the beginning, one of the first cars that caught my attention was a Hamann showcar and it had exactly these mirrors on. Little did I know at that point that this particular car wasnīt an M5. So I ordered the same mirrors... This is what happens when you act too fast.... I donīt dislike the mirrors, they still are prettier than the square truck mirrors it carries originally.

The wheels indeed arenīt the bomb, again, like with everything, they look better in real life then on picture... But the thing is they are dead cheap... for 600$ (keep in mind that tires allready cost 300$ a piece over here) I can keep these on for now as an improvement over the 18" and when the rubber is gone go for new wheels. This gives me a 19" in the meanwhile and saves me from taking hasty decisions (like the mirrors) that I might regret in the future having spent serious $$...

Here you have a picture of the hamann car in question:

Car looks good.
We did the following:

- when I take out the key the doors unlock
- we eliminated "bulb check"
- we eliminated the beeps when you donīt put on your seatbelt
- we eliminated the error that my aftermarket xenons gave

We wanted to put on the welcome lights with fogs but canīt figure it out... Welcome lights are in my idrive menu turned on, I even can adjust the duration, but it just doesnīt do anything. Is it possible that we have to update the module of the lightclusters?
