I'm possibly interested in "coding" where windows can go up/down with key-fob, etc. Where in OH can I get the coding done? Interested in the options/cost. I'm also moving from OH to MT in July. I could "possibly" stop somewhere on the way depending on turn-time.

Thnx!

Grimlokt -> If you take 80/90 West you will pass through South Bend, IN. I could help you out.

I am about 6 hours from Cincinnati.

Thank you for the offers. Right now, I just don't have the time to drive that far away. I've been reading a little on the bmwcoding forum and maybe I can learn to do some of this stuff myself?

NoQuarter, off topic but I see one of your mods was the sport automatic retrofit. What is that: paddle shifters and such? Any write-ups on how to do that mod?

My signature has a link to the info. I did it without the paddles but the info includes doing it with paddles too.

I read through your post and even read BMW's short summary on the "sport automatic transmission." What exactly does it do? It sounds really similar to the stock set-up.
