codes E1CD and A828 from bmwhat
 

I got the app and adapter a couple of months ago and used it to check my 2010 550i. At the time I had 3 codes, which I cleared because I knew what they were from
TPMS error - got a flat and the car freaked out because the spare has no sensor
terminal shutdown - I drained the battery running a portable tire compressor
Wiper failure - I replaced the relay a few months before.

This weekend I got 2 codes that I can't figure out why I got them:

MASK E1CD - unknown error
-I didn't find anything after googling and searching the forums. I don't even think the E60 LCI Nav has the mask system - it's CIC. What could this mean?

GWS A828 - Faulty indicator
-I double checked the last few times I drove it, and all the indicators light up when the car is in the corresponding gear, the red backlights are on all the time and I can go into all gears normally.
-Worst case scenario, does anyone have instructions/pictures on how to remove the console and selector?

What could these errors mean? I'll clear them and see if they come back, but I'd like to know what symptoms to look for after clearing. Thanks.

PS: Battery has 8K on it and it was registered by and indy (I didn't know about bmwhat at the time)
