Default Clutch replacement e60

Hi everyone
so i have a bmw e60 530 manual 2006 but my clutch is starting to give up. So i thought if anyone has a diy/guidance/instructions on how to change the clutch and if it is ”hard”
i know i have to remove the exhaustsystem and the gearbox but instructions or something would be really helpful

also, what is the estimated time this would take depending on a real ”workshop” and ”unexperienced”

Best regards

You can expect the exhaust bolts to be rusted so bad you may need to cut them off, get the stud out of the hole and replace them with a new nut/bolt. This process alone could take a few hours to sort out.
Be sure to also replace the rear main seal
Expect to need quite an assortment of long ratchet extensions, wobble heads, etc to get to the bolts on top of the transmission.

I have done all of my own modifications including my cdv delete but I had my mechanic replace my clutch and flywheel as I've never replaced it myself and its a very crucial job. If parts are not reinstalled correctly, your clutch will most likely be permanently damaged. Took him a week to install it, mind you he had other projects as well. As for parts I got a LUK clutch and a Rhino Pac flywheel. I've put 10,000mi on them so far and theyre great. I get a little chatter going into first usually. I heard Spec is terrible unless you already have a full performance setup.
