clunking noise from front end

+1 on the sway (stabilizer) link...by far the most common failure associated with this sort of noise across almost all the BMW line.

Hi all,

It's very common that the front end starts to crack in more driven BMW's.

The great handling comes from tender parts.

After some 100,000 miles any BMW needs a proper chassis service.

My Ride: 95 M3 CAI, chipped, pulleys, Xbrace, doesn't give headaches every time I start up! 04 545i all the goodies INCLUDING HEADACHES!

Tightened the upper strut brace this morning and found all the bolt loose! No more clunking from the dash
I wish all the fixes where this cheep!
