IF money wasn't an issue, which one would you rather own
CLS. Exterior design is better than BMW and car looks much more exclusive and rare. It bugs me that M5 does not look much different from 525.

We're lucky , if BMW started a clean sheet build up of an M5 it would be $250,000. Sharing parts and amortization with the other E 60's keeps it quite reasonable for a Super Car

Want a coupe with Luxury and Performance --> 650 or M6
Rear seats in 6er are useless. Which is ridiculous considering it is really an upgraded 5.

I didn't say it should have 100% different parts. But it could have more distict look. Think 6 that shares a lot with 5, but looks different enough and does not cost $250000. Otherwise 'super' is largely a different engine. If I am going to pay $100K for a car, I don't want it to look as $40K car.

But thats the whole point of an M5... Wolf in Sheep's Clothing... I was sad at first they added the side vents... its looking too different from the regular E60s... What the ///Ms are famous for was it looks normal yet nothing normal about them... internal parts are very different. I LOVE the subtle difference the E39 ///M5 had. Subtle yet distinguish enough. Look at the E34 and E28 M5s... CLASSIC wolf in sheep's clothing...

The M5 looks far more exclusive & unique over the standard models than the CLS63 over the other CLS models for sure or the E63 over the E500 for sure.

I still say I'll take the sporty look of the 550i over the sleek but squished look of the CLS.
