I have an E61 2006 model. Three times the last 2 weeks the clock has been reset to 00:00, while the date remains correct. It happens when I start the car, and I have to go to the menu and set the clock to the correcct time.

Anyone have an idea why this happens?

I know that the clock is reset (strangely not the date or any other settings) if the battery goes below a critical level.

I had the problem once. Somebody told me not to set it, but simply drive the car for a while and it will come back with the correct time. Never tried it, though.
