Hi all,

I am driving a E61 LCI (523i) and I am having a strange problem that you may be able to help me out with.

Recently only cold air started coming out of the passenger side footwell and no matter what I do in the climate control or in the iDrive seems to fix it.
I have been checking the individual airflow settings, turning on the heat (the intermix settings/bars) etc.
Driver side and top is fine, passenger dash seems OK - and then the footwell.

The BMW dealer seems to thing that it may be some fault in the software and wants to do a full system check and a s/w update.
It will apparently give the ability from them to adjust the flaps etc.

Doesn't matter what temp I put it on, or if it goes in auto/individual mode.

What do you think?

Update -

Dealer updated S/W and all works fine again. *phew*
