I have owned the vehicle for about 2 months now and still am confused on how to set the climate control.
Sometimes when I start the car the AC is already turned ON. Sometimes all fans are turned off.
How to do setup the climate controls to where everything is turned off right after I start up the vehicle?

TBH, I've owned mine for more than 2 years and still couldn't figure why sometimes it's off and sometimes it's on. It doesn't bother me that much anyway, just press the off button and it's good to go. I think it has to do with the temp. setting prior to the engine being turned off. I'm sure someone will clarify this for us.

I'd like to know as well...
One thing I've noticed tho is if I get back into my car within ten minutes of leaving all my settings are still on including the heated steering wheel and heated seats...

Here's how I think the US automatic climate control works. When the ignition is on, the climate control goes into the last known operational mode: manual or auto. The keyword here is operational. "Off" is not an operational mode. Additionally, if it starts in Auto, the A/C is also turned on (this can be coded off with NCS).
If the car has not gone to sleep (say within 10 minutes) of power-off, ignition on with bring back the climate controls to the last exact settings, including Off.
