Default Climate control isn't getting any power wont even cut on please help!

So I changed my cd player and it looks like i blew a fuse to the climate control unit. It won't even power on its dark, no lights nothing. Does anybody know what fuse number it is so I can change it? I have a 2006 525xi.

Your best bet it to use a tester, to locate the bad fuse, unless you have a complete diagram of the fuses, start pulling. Does the blower work? That's a 25_30 amp fuse if it's on the same circuit.

If its a fuse there is usually no need to pull them out to test them if you have a multimeter or a continuity tester. All the regular fuses can be accessed at the pins without removal - they are slightly exposed at the rear.

There is usually a fuse diagram in the car in a card - mine is near the toolkit.

Good luck.
