Unhappy Cleared SRS Code - Still won't start

Hi all,
Newbie here, this is my first BMW.
A couple of days ago I was pulling into my carport and had to turn the car off to unlock the gate. When I got back in I put the key in and got the SRS light on the dash and the car would not start.
After getting some help pushing it into my carport (uphill!) I did some checking online and after reading tons of forums I figured it was likely a minor fault and I wanted to try to reset the code and see if the car would start before taking it to the shop.
I was able to clear the SRS code and still, with no current codes at all, my car won't start. I thought it might be the battery at this point because I had the key on for quite a while when I was troubleshooting and I did see the Battery Charge Level warning light once. I went ahead and connected a charger to it (it was below 25% according to the charger) and left it overnight.
I went out this morning to try again (charger shows 100%) and still nothing. When I turn the ignition on all the dash lights come on, headlights will turn on, etc. The electrical stuff seems fine.
Why won't she start?
OH, one other code that I cleared was a transmission code about the parking gear. I believe it was activated because I had to manually shift into neutral (electronic shifter) and then back into park when we got it into the carport.
Please help.
Thanks
Rick

SRS codes wont let the car not start. I would have said your battery is shot but you charged it. What other codes did you get pulled? Also check your brake lights if they engage with the ignition on. Might be your brake switch.

What is the year and model. Did the trans code come back. Are you sure it is in park and there is not a coin preventing it from engaging park all together. Have you put it in neutral and tried to start it. If you have done this I would have the battery tested it could be your problem.
