PEOPLE!!!! I am back to the forum from a long hiatus. Please forgive if my topic is old as there is a newer CIP out there. First off, I had some problems with my car with the factory installed CIP 16. Transmission had a mind of it's own (just got stuck in wierd gears and the famous SLAM). CD player stopped playing MP3s and rejected anything other than the DVD Nav disc. you all probably know about it.

WELL.....I took my car in and complained only to get an upgrade that is worse. The first thing that came to my attention is that the beast now runs like a slouth :'( . It is pathetically confused off the line. The acceleratoin lag/delay is just unacceptable. I have to do a kickdown just to get it to move.
Next, I have severe wheelspin at random moments (a total contradiction to the delay). I was coming out of a turn and didn't even floor it and the car fishtailed. It keeps on happening like the DTC falls alseep.

Last, and most infuriating is that my rear doors will not lock on drive away. I have my 14 month old kid in the back and the fact that the doors do not lock makes me feel insecure even if he cannot open it. Just the thought of anyone be able to open my rear doors.....ARHHHH The worse part of this is that the main central lock button won't lock the rear doors after the drive off. ARHHHHH!!!!!!

19.xx was great in our car too

But after I got CIP 19.xx the car sometimes act like it's in sportmode, and dosen't upshift at the low revs I want my diesel too.. It's more smooth but the fuel comsumption has incresed....

Best is, that now the eyebrows, bluetooth and Voice rec, are working!!!!
