CIC - Testing on Bench
 

Is there anyway i can check if the the CIC upgrade components work before attempting to fit to the car?

Also will my car need a full software upgrade from a dealer before i fit?

Shouldn't be necessary to to the software upgrade, but it's not a bad thing either, since it's harder to do it afterwards. It did it in my 2008 e61, but I didn't bother when I retrofitted in the e81, both works fine.
