Good Morning All:
I have a 2007 550i pre LCI. I want to upgrade the CIC to CCC and would like for a pro to do this. Can someone recommend a good place in Houston who can do this? Also, what would be the cost for the whole thing (approx).
Thanks!!

did you really mean you want to go from the CIC to the CCC. Or actually meant the other way around.

I live here in Houston and if I had $3,000 I would do this, too!
It doesn't look too terribly difficult from a mechanical point of view. The forum has very good details. The only trick is getting the unit programmed. I think that you will pay tons of cash for a local shop to do it, if you can even find anyone to sign up for it. The fellow that does the remote programming from Poland will work with you to get the car coded. Alternatively, if you are a member of BMWCCA then you might try the local club chapter and see if there is anyone that can do the coding for you. Good luck.

It'll be $3K before you know it. Its about $3.5K as a programmed kit and that too doesn't include the LCI AC and a few other bits and bobs.
