Default Choosing an E60 OBD Package

From what I researched, it appears that this Ebay seller has the best reputation and performance in selling BMW OBD packages. Can anybody comment on the differences between SSS Progman V41 and V32? Is it worth the extra $34

SSS Progman V41: $153.99

BMW Progman V41 USB OBD Package Dis SSS Ncsexpert Inpa Ediabas | eBay

SSS progman V32: $119.99

BMW USB OBD K Dcan Cable Dis SSS Ncsexpert Inpa Ediabas | eBay

I own a 2005 545i, so which of the included software packages apply to my current vehicle and would be most helpful/pertinent?

I'm not really interested in torrent downloads and prefer to have them pre-packaged for me.

SSS Progman is very limited and can only do car/key coding; I never use it. You need INPA to work first and 5.0.2 should do the trick along with EDIABAS 6.4.7. After that, being able to run DIS 5.7 is very helpful. For coding NCSEXPERT 3.08 or 3.1 runs circles around Progman, but has a fairly steep learning curve. It only runs under WIN XP. Be willing to invest hours to correctly install and successfully employ all the software.

That is expensive, try this, simple one click install, save yourself the hours of strife. Great package.

BMW & Mini Diagnostic Cable - Black Edition « BM Technic | BMW Diagnostic Cable | BMW Diagnostic Software

I am sure I read somewhere that v32 of Progman was the last version before ISTA came out?

Thanks guys for the feedback.

BM Technic looks good; I guess they're closed for the Chinese holidays even though they are based out of UK.

I was wondering how up to date the BM Technic software is; they have the versions listed as follows:

BM Technic Launch Pad

Diagnostic Information System v57 (DIS)

SSS Progman v32

INPA 5.0.6 and Ediabas 7.3.0

NCS Expert 4.0.1

Technical Information System (TIS)

NavCoder (TRIAL VERSION ONLY)

WinKFP 5.3.1

ToolSet32 4.0.3

The Ebay seller brags that his are not made in China as apparently there have been many issues with those cables functioning correctly.

Anybody have experience with BM Technic?

I've been running my NCSExpert under Win 7 for quite a while with no problem ...

Can someone recommend a good package for a 2010 528i? The one mentioned on this thread apparently only supports e60s up to 2007. Thanks
