And has anyone here in this forum seen a Chinese-built 5 series up close to see how it compares with the German built ones?

Thank's nice trivia.

It seem that 40000 units sold this year was more than optimistic.

BTW is RR also in those numbers?

No mention about RR, I presume not.

Yup, that's why there are sometimes three cars in two lanes, or people drive onto the oncoming traffic.

Yes!! Oncoming trafic lane, walkways, parks, service station yards, parking areas. Generally any place where is gap for the car. I really don't know is there anyone enforcing trafic rules? But they have driving schools.

Right, because car is a status symbol and if you need to buy used cars that means you are not doing well.

Yep! Outside everything has to look good or You loose Your "Face"! Can't say no to boss etc. People can collect whole family's (mean extended family) money so that one can get a BMW (oh no, not in my case ), because goodnes of that symboll will fall on every one in that family. My father in law keep picture of my car in his wallet.

Just read from China Daily that Bentley have sold quite many cars in here!

If there's people enforcing traffic you think we would see these things. And yes I have seen someone taking driving lessons at Schenzhen around 7pm, traffice not too heavy but people cut him off like crazy, I feel so bad for that guy

True, but first came work in China and then came Mrs.

Actually I like to be in here, but I miss so much my BMW! Maybe this weekend I have to go BMW dealers showroom in Nanjing just to get help for the worst craving! Don't think that I can get test drive?

Hey that's good, glad you have found your love after travelling half way around the world.

Will you come to Hong Kong, since is so near for you. I will set up a meet for you if you come okay. Or setup a test drive appointment for you at BMWHK just tell the salesman you are thinking of moving here and wanted a car then no problem.
