It not bad really, certainly a step up from the anodyne Korean offerings that litter the market.
It has some Skoda Octavia overtones, and I'm quite fond of the current angular style of these types of cars. (or I wouldn't be driving an e60 would I?

Oops - I think I've found the problem:
"The Jinjue has four powertrain options from 1.6 to 2.0 liters, most of which are supplied by Shenyang-Mitsubishi. "
If it's as big as an e60 - not sure I'd like a 1600cc one
Looks quite nifty though

Chinese manufacturers are generally too cheap and incapable of designing their own products. Chinese culture places absolutely no value on intellectual property. When in doubt they just steal it and the government winks and looks away. If China is to assume the stature as a nation that it desires, then respect and acknowledgement of intellectual property must become part of Chinese society. It is up to the government of China to assume a leadership role.
Wow! Political polemics and subjective, rhetorical generalization on the e-60 forum! Please...................... We're supposed to be here to get away from that sort of BS.

Sorry ric it is a 'BMW' group car, practically a BMW and in the price range not bad, they mixed e60 heads and grill from e91.

In 2003, the Group also established a joint venture with BMW to produce BMW 3-series and 5-series sedans in China. The Group also engaged in the manufacture of gasoline engines for use in minibuses, sedans, SUV and light trucks and automotive components, including but not limited to window mouldings, strips, axles, stamped parts, etc.

As I posted prior to my trip to China on 2 Feb, please remember that China actually does have a BMW assembly plant that produces the e-60 series as well as the 7 series. Therefore, there obvoiusly cannot be any "issues" between a Chinese auto producer and BMW. Also, years ago Audi began assembling the 5000 model which later was to become a solely Chinese automobile known as the "Red Flag". Audi remains a major player there with the black A6 being one of the most coveted models.

named the Jinjue (which can be translated either as "Triumphant Horse," or "Winning Gold").
Whatever you call it, it is a sporty sedan designed by Pininfarina in Italy.

Just think of the potential for amusing double meanings in translation for iDrive, runflats, and all those goofy acronyms....

I don't think your 5-series is that much better.
In which reguards? Looks, options, reliablility, prestige, all the above? Price? of course not price... my stupid 5 costs too much.
Hey man... I've seen how Korean built cars are here... dont have too much faith in them... friend had one that he had to take back to the dealer 5 times cuz it wont accelerate over 35mph and sometimes cant shift out of park! Whats good for 10 year 100K mile warranty if they cant fix it?
I doubt this China made car is that much better.
Hahhaa ok ok I know I'll get flamed for saying that about the Korean car and China car... Go on FLAME away... I got my flame suite on already.
