Change type of oil in gearbox GS6-17BG
Hi
I have had a whining noise at 2nd gear for over 80000 km. Its really annoying me and I have exchanged the MT-LT3 once... with no change and then I filled it with RedLine MTL with minor effect.
I have read a lot of threads about this type of gearbox and different MT oils and I understand that it is quite common that these MT sounds a bit....
My understanding is that it could be stupid to not follow manufactors specifications....
Anyway I would like to have opinions on my final attempt to minimize this whining sound .... I just bought Omega 690 75w90.
Anyone that have experience from using this manual gearbox oil??
