I know that you can reset the Service inspection date, but does anyone know how to bring the date forward?

i.e. its set for March 2008 but i want to have it in Jan 2008 (as my BMW warranty runs out then)

Cheers

I'm not sure you can change CBS dates, only dates that match up to things like state inspection dates, etc.

If someone knows how, I'm sure they'll chime in but if this is possible to do by the end-user, it would be a really stupid design by BMW...

Fraud... how about trying to talk to your BMW dealership. If you've established a pretty good relationship with them, they may consider your request.

I still don't think it's possible for even the dealer to change these due dates. They're at the mercy of the CBS as well. If they do a service before the CBS says it's due, they won't get any warranty reimbusement...

Is that when your warranty runs out or when your (free scheduled) maintenance contract runs out?
