Change the break fruid

Hey, I was just wondering if the break fruid or any kind of mantianans MUST be change by the dealer. or we can do it ourself.

my problem was when i do myself, how do i change the time or date or KM on the idrive to show that my car doesnt any service any more.!!

My car says I need to change my brake fluid as well. I'm up here in Montana where there isn't a BMW dealer for 350 miles. I hope a local import shop can do this for me.

You can change it yourself. If you do a search you can find a way to reset the maintain timer/counter. The only thing is that the maintenance will not be record on the BMW database/records.
