You don't tell us what MY your car is?

It could be that you need a new battery if your car is a '05 or older.

Hi

Have you being mounting some ekstra modes ??? , if its not a battery faliur , i could sound like the K-Can Bus , or the PT-Can Bus has been "fucked" up durring a retrofit of some ekstras in the car.

If you're 'lucky' it will be a battery failure - if your battery is the original it may have given it's last volt.

Our e60 suck the life out of batteries like some Washington legislators suck money out of taxpayers wallets.

My 2004 525i went into dealer with same problem. Started with battery drain, then after charging each time more warning lights came on, then lost i drive screen. Dealer after 2 weeks has narrowed it down to a KGM module about US$750. I hope that may be all. Initially a mechanic suggested changing the i driveUS$2600!I told the service manager to get real and have them do a proper analysis first.

Check the area in and around your spare tire, is it wet? There's a module that controls many of the electronics located in the spare tire well. If the drain is plugged in your sunroof, water could get into the trunk and collect in the spare wheel well. Also check the batter tray for water. If it is wet, that module probably toast.
