CD Stuck E60 CD Player
#1
Hi,
I think there is a cd stuck in my cd player, maybe 2 but im not sure.
Everytime i try to eject the cd it makes a funny noise tries ejecting but nothing comes out. It is the CD slot above the DVD player. Does anyone know what the problem could be or how to remove it? Also how to take the cd player out of the dash???
Thanks
Harry

Hi,
i've seen this being done by the dealer. First you start off by removing the dash trim (it is the one that is either in cube aluminium or wood trim running the full width of the car.). Insert something like a hard piece of plastic under it, start off from the middle and move to the sides. It feels hard but it will pop out. Later, remove the matching trim running from the dash till the ashtray. Same thing, it just pops out. Underneath there you will see several screws that need to be unscrewed. You need to remove the screws and the panel holding the hazard lights button first, then move on to the cd dash. After you remove your cd player from the dash, you can open its metal enclosure and can gain access to the interior part. That way you can check/remove your stuck CD.
If you need more help just let me know.
