Hi

Had a blonde moment the other day and put a cd in the dvd drive and know the navigation won't work. I can't remove the cd as the drive won't open. Any ideas of how to get the cd out?

You can reboot the systrem, which also ejects any discs. To reboot your car control computer (I-Drive, Navigation, Audio), hold down both eject buttons for the DVD and CD drives while pushing the radio power knob. This causes the system to reboot from scratch but doesn't lose any of your presets or stored information.

There was a recent post about a similar problem where the thinness of a cd wouldn't permit it being read or ejected. If I recall, the solution the user came up with was to insert a business card in the slot (above the cd??) and then try to eject it. I can't personally vouch for it but I don't think carefully slipping a business card into the CD/DVD drive slot to trick some sensor shouldn't harm it ... may be worth a try?
