Hy to all, the problem is that each time i start the engine my ccc blinks for a couple of seconds(goes black, and imediatly normal), let's say for 5-10 seconds, and after that all is normal. It blinks aproximatly 3-7 time's and after that all is in order, the problem is the blinking fenomen, because the music is it heard, the pdc are working, all is it fine.
I am waiting for solutions of this problem.
Thank you in advance,

You've got a 530d stateside? That's rare.

Anyhow, it is usual that the display flickers for a second when starting the engine, at least I've never driven an e60/e61 where there wasn't a quick flash onscreen. If it persists as long as you describe it might be caused by a bad battery I guess? How old the is car in question?

I vote for the same cause: the battery.

Flicker is fairly common, if it continues and does it when the car is actually moving then you might have a CCC unit that is going bad. Mine did it when starting and in motion, and evetually died.

Hmmmmm, so how long did your CCC flicker before it actually went out? Mine seems to blink at me once or twice a day pretty consistent.

Less than a year from the time I noticed it to the time it was black (dead) all the time. I had my CPO warranty at the time, but alas, electronics are NOT covered Note to self: Next car I say F*** the CPO warranty and go for a more comprehensive one

Ok, first of all, i am from Romania, in Europe,
Second, it flikcer's each time i start the engine, not in motion, it has never flick in motion, or to go black screen in motion.
The battery is brand new, i have changed, and the problem is the same.
Is it possible to be the IBS sensor ?
Actualy, going a little bit further i notice that the cable from the alternator( generator) it is not plug in.Could this be the reason?I dont think so....
Thank's for your opinion's

Salut Cosmin, ne intalnim si aici

there are two cables which go into the alternator. Show us a picture of your alternator. Also, check the voltage output you are getting with menu number 9: www.scoopz.com/m5board/E60_Hidden_OBC_Instructions.pdf
