Hi guys, Apple released CarPlay for various car manufacturers to adopt on all new vehicles like Honda, Ford, GM, Jaguar, and Hyundai, in addition to Volvo, Ferrari, and Mercedes-Benz, and I think BMW is also doing this.

Mercedes said it is working on an after market installation for their older cars and wondering if BMW will ever do the same.

I believe this could be a great addition to iDrive.

Pioneer is also looking into the possibility of implementing CarPlay compatibility with both its existing and future products.

 

Meh, I plug in my aux cable to my iPhone and I'm good to go

 

Wow, that definitely looks cool. I would love to see this equipped on upcoming BMW models.

 

I have the dension icon drive and I've never been able to plug my iPhone 5 to it. I have to use my iPhone 4, even when I used a converter to go from the old usb cable to the new iphone.

I wish dension can make a conversion tool to get this finally to work with the new and future iphones/ipod/ipads and have it be able to work with carplay as well.

 

Would love this. Would even love for an aftermarket unit that would allow us for something similar.
