Just curious what you guys think. I'm picking up a 550 on Tuesday and I can choose between two identical vehicles both with m-tech kit and m172 wheels in either carbon black or titanium silver. I've had a carbon black 530 for the past 3 years so thought the silver would be a nice change but it seems like the car doesn't look as agressive and sporty in titanium silver.

Any thoughts ?

I luv Carbon black and would have suggested that color for you.

But since you had it, why not change to a different color. You'll actually feel you have a new car instead of the SAME EXACT CAR FROM THE OUTSIDE.

but thats just my .02

I get a lot of comments on my titanium silver. It just looks classy. Color match is more of an issue if it ever needs body repair.

I've had both colors. My 540 was titanium silver and my 550 is carbon black. I love the look of both colors although carbon black, to me, looks sportier and more aggressive. However, titanium silver is the easiest color to keep clean and it hides swirls and other imperfections so much better than carbon black. Carbon black shows everything and is PITA to keep clean. If you don't want to wask your car every week, get TS. If you like washing your car, get CB.

I really like my CB - but it may be hard to take care of in the depths of the Ontario winter. TS is V good looking, but quite common here on loaner fleets and lease cars. Of course salt does not show as bat upon it.

I'm thoroughly biased toward black cars in general, so obviously I would have to vote for Carbon Black!

Depends how much you like washing your car.

CB looks better all clean and shiny but after a week or two or some rain TS looks better.

My silvergray almost always looks good but my old Jet Black M3 looked like crap after one rain storm.
