After seeing some wrapped cars this weekend up and close and personal, I sort of have an itch to maybe wrap my car. I wouldnt want to do the standard flat black or flat white as it seems those are the most common colors used. Ive kind of been toying with a flat red in my mind but not sure I can make such a drastic change. I would be keeping the same wheels Breyton gts-r, I would maybe consider powder coating them but not sure. Although obviously 2 completely different beasts I included 2 pics of flat red bmws. So what color do you all think an e60 might look good in wrapped and flat?

2nd pic looks cool. Rather unique, never seen such a red color before. I personally am going for a high gloss red vinyl wrap and then high gloss shawdowline, grille, front lip, rear diffuser and roof. I love the contrast of high gloss red/black. Keep us updated with pics if you decide to wrap your car.

There's a guy with a Lexus at my daughter's preschool that's wrapped in the blue equivalent to that red. Matte with a black color shift. He said is BIL did it after taking a weekend course down in Colorado Springs. Deal on the course was $1K, you learn to wrap cars, and you get a wrap for your own car to learn on. In other words, $1K and you get your car wrapped (doing it yourself obviously), and all subsequent wraps are at cost. Not sure what the materials were alone for the Lexus though. I've given thought to doing that myself next year, but I figure I should be able to figure it out without the extra cost if I troll the internet with some intent for a few weeks. Lots of higher priority plates spinning right now in preparation for winter, so we'll see how that shakes out.
