Car wont turn over

Happened today, drove in, parked, turned off, a few minutes later I go out and the car didn't want to turn over..
All the electronics work, But what i hear is a loud gear from the headlights (adjusting) and a sound of (what seems like a small door closing) when I try to turn it on.
CEL is on. (Ignition switch on) No attempt to start or even hear the buzz of the starter.
Car: 2008 550i
Just my luck the day before the show....Any Help?
Also. The green light for the Push Start will NOT turn on when i press it.

I understand these cars have lot of electrical problems. Eventhough mine has been good no wonder somebody said BMW=Buy More Warranty.
Again I have been lucky but if you look around on the board you will find ton of issues with our E60's.

i dont think it is battery because if it is it wont even turn on anything but just get dim...
