So I was treated to an ice covered driveway this morning and now my car is stuck! The left rear wheel is on the driveway while the rest is either on the grass or on the snow. I'm planning on calling AAA to pull it out tonight... does anyone remember if there is a place in the rear to hook to?

Thanks!

There is a eye bolt in the tool kit in the trunk. There is a 1 1/2" square section on the back bumper toward the right side. That section comes loose and there is a place inside the bumper where you attach the eye bolt.

I just tried removing the plastic cover and ended up damaging the bumper a little.

Hah... I'm going to need one of those to get car back on the driveway. I tried to get it back onto the driveway this morning and ended up in a worse situation - the car is now off the driveway completely and in the ice/snow. I have this dreadful feeling that it may be a while before I get to drive it again.

I no longer have the option of towing it back to the driveway (it sideways now).

It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow... did you try ice melt or salt on the driveway?

+1

While I have no idea what your driveway looks like, I hope you're not trying to run on summer tires.
