Here is the deal, Driving in regular "Drive" mode shifting is normal, no jerking or hard shifting,
But when i slap it over to the Left, "DS (sport mode)" it jerks when im getting out of a complete stop,
So from 1st gear to 2nd gear jerks, then from 2nd to 3rd not as harsh but still jerks.
So what am i supposed to do???
Is this normal?
Has anyone encountered this as well?

It seems you need to use "25 seconds" trick ( https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=40018 )

Or just go buy a manual tranny 2010 M5, should resolve the issue.

Well, in general, the sport mode is a bit harsher in shifting. I'm not sure I would call it "jerky," but that's a relative term. As suggested, I would do the 25-sec reset and see if the tranny "learns" your more aggreassive habits.

Okay, i just tried it on my lunch break, held it down for 35 sec, didnt hear any "reset" noise from anywhere, the shifting is still the same, maybe 10% less harsh, but the jolt is still there!!!
