While running an errand to a local store, I parked my bmw away from everyone else off in the corner. As i walked toward the store i notice a large GMC pickup backing out of his spot at a high rate of speed ! In the .2 seconds that this took to occur i thought he would slow + stop to go forward. He continued backing quickly and as I yelled out "NO !!!"
he slammed into my car hitting it sqaurely between the two passenger side doors and the impact actually moved my car sideways. I was stunned ! No injuries to anyone
but prior to this collision my poor car was totally "detailed" so sweet.

I'm sorry to see that. I'm still getting over being rear-ended by a moving truck back in May. Cost over $8K to repair my car. I really hope they get yours fixed soon! That's the thing I hate about parking lots - no matter how far/how obscure your parking is, some idiot still wants to park right near you anyway.

a light hit from that high up should definitely not affect the frame; any good body shop will fix her right up

Thanks for the kind words.

The worse part was actually watching it unfold in front of my eyes ! The rear door is in pretty tough shape...
I sure hope his insurance doesn't bust my ass about repairing the car with oem parts.
