I got hit from behind today and pushed into another car. My question is has anyone had to purchase new bumpers from BMW? I'm just trying to figure out what the price difference is between OEM and M Sport.

It seems to me that your car is black...is it jet black or shappire black? I just installed MTech Kit on my 545i. If you're interested in new bumper and color is matched. Let me know.

Sorry to hear about your accident.

it's monaco blue, I'm not really worried about picking one up used, the accident wasn't my fault so it will be covered. I was just wondering how much i would have to throw in for the M tech bumper

Get the M bumper, I think is worth it. It will be within an arm's reach if you are paying the difference only.

I'm trying to remember how much I paid...actually...just pulled out the invoice...$1,290.34 for the painting and installation, and $1,252.04 (+ tax) for the parts.

thanks for the info. The insurance adjuster is supposed to check it out today. I hope this doesn't take forever.
