I purchase four Bridgestone RE960 AS tires this past Tuesday, non-run flat and on the stock staggered rims (no scratches during install ).
This car has the sport package and my last one also had it, and I became a full time weather man trying to predict when it would snow because the summer tires just don't work, and they are not designed to.
For all of you foreigners, we Americans don't like our rims scratched which happens maybe more times here than elsewhere, and since a lot of us lease we don't want to spend for another set of rims. Anyway with todays snow here in the Northeast it was the first time I was able to drive my car under these conditions. I am going to leave them on until they wear out, storing the run flats until lease end.

Pannetta........I've been looking at the Bridgestones also as well as the Goodyears......How much did you pay for the Bridgestones and where did you buy them. I've gotten some prices from Mavis and STS in Nassau County. All seem to be about the same, around 180.00 apiece

Your 525 has different rims, tires and speed rating then my 535. The front 245/40-18 W speed rating was $218 and the rear 275/35-18 W was $244 plus $20 each for mount/balance at All Weather Tire in Huntington Station.

How does your leasing differ from ours? We basically borrow money on leased subject + get additional services at better costs. At the end of the lease, the subject ownership changes from leasing company to us.

I got my RE960 All season bridgestone from Tirerack.com. I think it was 730 after rebate for all for, for 18, 245-40 in front, and 275-35 in the rear.

Installation was 60 at Cross Island tires. They are good, cause you can request tirerack to send the tires to them and get a decent price install for the 18's. Check it out, they might have the Bridgestone rebate still there.

Painful memory for me.

I run with Goodyear winter tires year round. My last set lasted 33k miles (one year). I have been doing this for several years. Unconventional, but winter tires operate fine in the summer.
