My E60 felt very unstable at speed, the E60 with RFT's is very prone to tramlining and it was predominantly down to the tires. Once I switched out the stock run flats for better tires the problems largely went away.

I have had my 545 with RF up to an undicated 160 and my 535 non-RF up to an indicated 165 mph, both rock steady and stable. I would check all of the things recmmended above as something is wrong.

I notice a lot of you American chaps that have had RF's used Dunlops ?? fwiw mine are Good-Year Eagle F1 RF's if that could be the difference, ive not really had anything bad ot say about these tyres full stop to be honest.

thats because the car comes with dunlops, and when you wear out your runflats and need to buy new tires, it just gives you justification to buy 20" rims with the new tires as opposed to replacing the runflats. however I have yet to hear a dunlop/GY RF comparison and would be interested in hearing the difference. I heard something once about a recall on one fo the brands and BMW replacing the tires with the other brand. Is this true? was it in the US?

My E60 feels like a ship when going at > 160kmh (or 100 mph). The car seems to weave slightly to the right and left, or is it my imagination? Anyone experience this too?
Yes, I was driving on a freeway today at some 130 km/h.

There was a good wind and my winter tires are both soft and hard (RF).

With my summer tires the car is much more calm.

Do you have a M-Sport?
