Thanks, an interesting read.

Those CLS mercs look great in the flesh, the pics don't do them justice.

Also what is it with journos and i-drive? I'm pretty dumb and I managed to figure it out in 5 minutes.

Impossible. I agree the caddy is not for the 2nd spot. That spot is reserved for the merc
Anyway it's good to see m5 beating the merc at performance and steering feel and brake feel and HANDLING and...ohh i better chill.

February issue tests the S550. 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds and 13.7 second quarter mile. That's 545i/550i territory!

Yes, it is, and the car is very heavy--maybe similar to the 750i--which also is pretty quick.
