Please be gentle as this is my first post.

My car has just gone in to the stealers for Voice retrofit and a CIP update to 23.

Anyway as a loaner they've given me a 120d SE. My question is this- The 120d has some very funky lights on the door handles that come on when you unlock the car from the remote and they look sooooo nice. Does anybody know if these are available on the E60?

Any info is much appreciated

Oh my god!!

I've had a nightmare already with the dealer when they couldn't do the retrofit because they didn't know which software to install.

If they've screwed up the eyebrows they're going to get hell from me.

We'll see because I'm due to pick the car up in about 3 hours.

Hell it will be then. Pity you didn't find this forum earlier...

And CIP 23 issues have been all the rage for a couple of weeks now...

Its not the dealers fault, its the CIP programers...Only fault on the dealer is them not telling you about the problem..

The dealer has just confirmed CIP 23.2.2

I know it's not 100% the dealers fault but they are supposed to be the experts.

I'm annoyed because I had my car booked in for the work doing last week and they called after a full day with the car to say they didn't know which software to install and were waiting on BMW UK's advice.

They're supposed to be the ones with access to all the technical info so I rely on them to provide me with the info I need to make an informed choice.

Seems like you guys know more than the dealers. I'll check on here first before I get any more "upgrades"
