car almost stalling

my cars been acting weird lately... when I drive with the ac off from a dead stop.. the car stalls and hesitate before it moves... Its fine if i have the a/c on. ive tried the 25s trick.. doesnt seem to work. Seems like with the a/c on its idles alittle higher and it doesnt have any stall issues... Any ideas???
