I have Comfort Access on my car. When I hit the stop/start button, the car shuts off, but the radio and I-drive screen remain on. If I hit the button again, with my foot on the brake, it starts again. If my foot is off the brake, the radio etc. shuts off. My SA told me that with the Comfort Access, hitting the Start/Stop button a second time with your foot off the brake is the equivalent of 'taking the key out of the ignition' in non-comfort access cars.

After a year of ownership mine has started doing this occasionally in the last couple of weeks. I don't have comfort access.

I love this forum. I replaced my 04 with an 07 a month or so ago, and couldn't figure this out. I was starting to think it might be me! Nice to see a solution!
Thanks everyone!
