Can't reset service warning

My Ride: 535xi 2010
Model Year: 2010
Can't reset service warning
The Service light on my 2010 535ix has been on for a few weeks. The specific item is the brake fluid check. I did try this procedure for the 2008:
"2008 535 xi. Make sure car is in accessory mode. Press and hold the Check and Trip Meter until Check System or Check OK light comes on. Release Both. Press both again and hold them through the warning symbol (exclamation in the triangle) until it displays which option to reset. Release both. Scroll through the list using the trip meter until you get to the desired item. Release. Press and hold until it asks "Reset?". Release. Press and hold trip meter until it resets".
However, I'm not able to get it to work so far. Am I doing something wrong? Is the 2010 model different? Thanks in advance for any input you might offer.
