Hi all,
Bought E60 520D '09 week ago - had low windscreen washer lever warning, when tried to fill in - pipe under the bonnet seems to full, but yesterday ran out of liquid, i tried to refill - pipe takes about 1 litre and thats it! Jets wouldnt spray anything but they seems to be working - i saw couple bubbles coming out of jets...
I have funny feeling the fill-in pipe from under the bonnet is blocked somehow. Any ideas pls?
..before taking i will start taking my E60 apart...

Are you talking about the washer reservoir? The system has a breather pipe on the driver's side (LH) which is not for filling.

The attached pic shows the location of the windshield reservoir should you need to locate it. It is yellowish in the pic in front of the tire. The pump is located on the side facing the tire. The rubber wheel-well can be partially removed to allow access to the pump.
