Got the new tires installed yesterday ... they did a great job with my rims (no marks) and the tires feel sooo much better then the old ones (the question is, for how long
)

While at the dealer today, getting my iDrive fixed I was asking my dealer about when my new dunlop RFs will be in (I'm getting a new set because of noise and wear - after a long fight with BMW Canada).
Anyway, the dealer told me that BMW Canada has new created a service bullentin for Canada that any customer complaining about the dunlop RFs with less than 40% wear will get a new set at no cost to the customer.
Summer is just around the corner![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)

Did you ever get a copy of the SB from BMW Canada? Could you please post if you did. I'm about to enter into the conversation with them on these tires.
I've got just a little more than 20,000 Kilometers (roughly 16,000 miles) on my tires since I bought my 2004 car used in Aug 2005. They were replaced when I bought it as I had complained about road noise when I test drove the car. So here we are, 20K KM later and it's noisy again. I don't know what 40% wear is but the dealer told me today that there is lots of tread left but that the fronts are - naturally - unevenly worn on the inside. They're implying that they'll do only one warrenty repair per car. The SB posted elsewhere on this forum doesn't mention anything about only once per car. They're suggesting that I rotate them and they'll even up over time. I've seen varying opinions in the forum on rotating. Some say not to. Others say they do. The manual says nothing on the topic.
I don't buy:
- tire replace only once. Especially if it's not mentioned anywhere. Maybe I'm being unreasonable.
- that rotating them will eventually fix them. Albeit rotating them may minimize my problem since it appears to be happening mostly on the front tires.
Thanks.
